Photography & Creative Storytelling
Photography, creative direction and story-led work for individuals and brands.
Clear ways to work together.
Studio 8 works with individuals and brands across photography, writing, print and objects.
You can commission projects individually in each domain or combine them when a story asks for more.
Some sessions can be booked directly. Bespoke projects begin with a conversation.
You can also gift storytelling through eGift cards.

Story-led writing for people, brands and publications.
All writing projects are developed through conversation.
Writing can be commissioned on its own or developed alongside photography. Each project begins with listening — shaping voice, structure, and intention before deciding how the work should live.
This work may include:
Editorial or long-form writing
Profiles, personal stories, or thought leadership
Narrative writing for brands, publications and visual projects
Projects are shaped individually, depending on scope, purpose, and where the writing will live.
Best for adding clarity, depth, and voice to a story.
Have a clear brief — or still finding the right form?

Stories shaped to live in physical form.
Developed through enquiry and collaboration.
Books and printed works allow stories to be held, shared, and returned to over time. Each piece is created with care for material, pacing, and craft — considering paper, scale, finish, and how the work will live in a space.
This work may include:
Photo-led or written books
Editorial or coffee-table publications
Printed photographic works or fine-art editions
Heirloom or legacy pieces designed to be kept and passed on.
Projects are developed collaboratively, from early thinking through to final production, with close attention to detail at every stage.
Best for long-term storytelling, legacy projects, or anyone wanting their work to exist as a physical object — not just a digital file.
Not sure what form the final piece should take yet?
We can shape it together. -
When one medium isn’t enough.
Story first. Form follows.
Some stories move across photography, writing, design, and print. These projects are shaped around the narrative first, with the final format emerging through conversation rather than being fixed at the outset.
Work often begins with story direction — clarifying:
what the story is
who it’s for
how it should be experienced
before choosing the mediums that will serve it best.
Combined projects may include photography, writing, books, print, or other bespoke outputs, developed as a cohesive whole rather than separate parts.
Best for individuals or brands seeking a complete narrative, where depth, clarity, and cohesion matter more than format.
Not sure where to begin?
A conversation is enough to start. -
A story, given.
Available to purchase in the Store.
Gift cards offer a way to gift story-led photography, writing, or printed work — time set aside to notice, listen, and create, rather than a fixed product or outcome.
They can be used toward any Studio 8 product or service, and are suited to moments that deserve care rather than convenience.
Gift cards are delivered digitally and can be used at a pace that feels right for the recipient.
Best for marking milestones, offering something meaningful, or giving space for a story to be made.
